Safety training for rally and circuit officials

MAFIRI planned to improve the competency levels of its rally and circuit officials by implementing a training programme to cover a number of roles and responsibilities. Training in trauma and basic life support would be provided for the medical teams including advanced training on trauma and extrication techniques. Training would be provided for scrutineers as this had been identified as a key priority. In addition, training would be provided for motor sport event administrative teams. In total, over 50 people would participate in the training sessions, with training delivered by QMMF, an FIA Regional Training Provider. Participants would be required to undertake an evaluation to assess their progress.

Improve competency of rally and cross country officials

The Motorcycle and Automobile Federation of the Islamic Republic of Iran (MAFIRI) aimed to implement safety training for officials for rally and cross country events. The training would target marshals and senior officials with the aim to improve their competency to run safe and efficient events. MAFIRI engaged the services of FIA Regional Training Provider ATCL in order to ensure that the programme is developed and delivered in line with FIA standards and approved content.

Officials safety training for baja and cross country events (60-80 participants). The aim of the activity is to improve the competency of officials to enable them to organise safe baja and cross country events for which there is an increasing demand. The ASN is intending to work with ATCL as RTP
